If not required by law, we will not obtain your consent before collecting your data from third parties. Instead, it will be deemed that you have previously given such consent to any third party from whom the GREENLand website receives such information.

The GREENLand project does not use third-party solutions to conduct web analytics, such as Google Site Kit, Google Analytics or other website traffic tracking or analytics tools. Concerning Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. No personal information is collected. Confidentiality is our priority. We are committed to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality with all of the information we receive from our customers.

Certain GREENLand website areas may link with social networking platforms using social networking plug-ins (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube) (collectively, “Social Media”). When accessing our website through a Social Media account, GREENLand may (depending on the applicable user privacy settings) automatically have access to information provided to or through the Social Media platform. These measures include technical and procedural steps to protect your data from misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction.

Use of Cookies

The GREENLand website uses “cookies” to personalize your online experience. “A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on your computer by the user’s web browser. When you request another page from the server, your browser sends the cookie back to the server.” One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. You can accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you might not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the GREENLand website.

Subscription to our Newsletter

On the website, users may, at some point, be allowed to subscribe to our eNewsletters. The input mask that will be used for this purpose determines what personal data are transmitted, as well as when the newsletter is ordered from the controller.

GREENLand can inform its stakeholders regularly using an eNewsletter form about its activities. The eNewsletter may only be received by the data subject if (1) the data subject has a valid e-mail address and (2) the data subject registers for the newsletter shipping. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address registered by a data subject for the first time for an eNewsletter subscription, for legal reasons, in the double-opt-in procedure. This confirmation e-mail is used to prove whether the owner of the e-mail address as the data subject is authorized to receive the newsletter.

Usage of contact details

By signing up for the eNewsletter on the GREENLand website you consent to receive an occasional email from GREENLand and partners. We will not sell or distribute email addresses to any third party at any time.

The personal data collected as part of a registration for the eNewsletter will only be used to send our newsletter. In addition, subscribers to the eNewsletter may be informed by e-mail, as long as this is necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or a registration in question, as this could be the case in the event of modifications to the newsletter offer, or the event of a change in technical circumstances. There will be no transfer of personal data collected by the newsletter service to third parties. The subscription to our newsletter may be terminated by the data subject at any time. The consent to the storage of personal data, which the data subject has given for shipping the newsletter, may be revoked at any time. For the revocation of consent, a corresponding link is found in each newsletter. It is also possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by communicating this to the controller e.g. by phone.

eNewsletter-Tracking

The eNewsletter contains so-called tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is a miniature graphic embedded in such e-mails, which are sent in HTML format to enable log file recording and analysis. This allows a statistical analysis of the success or failure of digital marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, the GREENLand may see if and when an e-mail was opened by a data subject, and which links in the e-mail were called up by data subjects.

Such personal data collected in the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters are stored and analyzed by the controller to optimize the distribution of the newsletters, as well as to adapt the content of future eNewsletters even better to the interests of the data subject. These personal data will not be passed on to third parties. Data subjects are at any time entitled to revoke the respective separate declaration of consent issued through the double-opt-in procedure. After a revocation, these personal data will be deleted by the controller. The GREENLand automatically regards a withdrawal from the receipt of the newsletter as a revocation.

Children’s Privacy

GREENLand does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child/ren has/have provided us with Personal Data please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information.
