Celebrating Science in our everyday lives! The fantastic annual Exhibition day returned to the University of Galway campus on Sunday, 9th of November, 2025.
This unmissable day was filled with exciting exhibitions and workshops inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers. There were fantastic interactive stands by world-leading global companies, local universities, research centres and local primary and secondary schools. The Exhibition also included over 20 educational and entertaining workshops and shows; zoology workshops showcasing real tarantulas, snakes, scorpions and lizards to very excited children and much, much more for the entire family to enjoy.
Dr. Liam Morrison and Dr. Ana Mendes had the opportunity to showcase microplastics research at the University of Galway as part of the HORIZON Europe-funded GREENLand Project the many visitors at Galway Science and Technology Festival.
