From October 4 to 7, 2025, Professors Stojic, Milosevic, and Pucarevic attended the International Plastic Summit in Lisbon, an event dedicated to addressing challenges and solutions for a sustainable future in the plastics industry.
The Plastic Summit Lisbon is a leading international platform that brings together business leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators to discuss key topics such as the circular economy, innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability.
The 2025 edition, themed “Towards a New Era of Responsible and Holistic Sustainability,” was held at Lisbon International Fair and served as a major meeting point for advancing the future direction of the plastics sector.
During the summit, the professors had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with researchers, stakeholders, and industry experts in the fields of plastics and microplastics. Several new contacts were established, laying the groundwork for future collaborations. The event also provided a platform to promote the upcoming MICROM 2025 conference, fostering further international engagement.
