Educons University hosted a three-day “Summer School on Educons HR Development” on 23, 24 and 26 June 2025 as part of the international GREENLand project.
Through interactive workshops, panel discussions, and strategic planning sessions, university staff strengthened their skills and explored innovative approaches to human resource management in higher education.
The summer school pursued four key objectives:
- Building HR capacity across all university units
- Introducing the Human Resource Development Strategy produced under the GREENLand project
- Developing competencies for contemporary HR practice tailored to academia
- Fostering internal collaboration, innovation and sustainability in people management
A special highlight was a set of parallel, service-specific workshops for the Legal Office, Student Services, Finance & Accounting, Marketing & Communications, and the International Cooperation & Projects Department. Each unit drafted a mini-action plan for improving its own processes and fostering cross-departmental cooperation.
The event represents a significant step toward modernising HR practices at Educons University and embedding principles of sustainable development in talent management.
