Venue: Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Belgrade
Event: III CEE2ACT Workshop of the National Center for Bioeconomy: Building a Vision and Roadmap with Joint Forces

The Third and final CEE2ACT workshop on bioeconomy, which took place on March 17, 2025, at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, represents a key step in the process of developing a Roadmap as an initial document for the further development of a strategy and action plans for a circular bioeconomy in Serbia.

The CEE2ACT project empowers Central and Eastern European countries to create bioeconomy strategies through a bottom-up approach, and the National Center for Bioeconomy plays a key role in this process. The workshop was an opportunity to jointly develop a national roadmap for the bioeconomy, exchange experiences, and strengthen cooperation among stakeholders.

We had the opportunity to see and comment on presentations on the project’s achievements and experiences so far in creating circular economy roadmaps. We participated in working sessions and an interactive discussion on the national circular bioeconomy roadmap. We identified opportunities and challenges for further development of the roadmap towards a bioeconomy strategy adapted to our national context.

Representatives of the University of Educons – the EDUCIRC2022 project team, Prof. Dr Jelena Ješić and Prof. Dr Simonida Vukadinović, actively participated in the workshop and presented the GREENLand Project as well as the possibility of cooperation within the Technology Transfer Hub office.
