On November 8th in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Prof. Dr. Nataša Stojić, leader of WP1 of the GREENLand project, Suzana Kojić, the GREENLand project manager, and Miloš Rajković, project coordinator, attended the 4th REMEDIES CLUSTER MEETING – (Micro)plastics: How to Prepare for Tomorrow?

The event, organized during Science Month by the National Institute of Chemistry and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Slovenia, provided a platform for critical discussions about the challenges posed by (micro)plastics and the strategies needed to address them effectively. Agenda.

Presentations from Slovenian partners in the REMEDIES and INSPIRE projects highlighted the importance of understanding the full scope of microplastic pollution to develop comprehensive solutions.

All attendees agreed that prevention is the most crucial step at this point, especially given that we do not yet have answers to all the questions surrounding microplastics. Research on microplastics is still in its early stages, and there is much work to be done and many questions yet to be answered.
