Knowledge transfer to stakeholders: The microplastic-emerging threat to the environment was held on the 27th of September to the representatives of the Provincial Secretary for Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Extension Agricultural Services.
Prof. dr Mira Pucarević presented the GREENLand project results concerning microplastic research, focusing on cooperation with stakeholders and raising the commercial capacity of Educons University.
She pointed out that cooperation with the Serbian Environmental Protection Agency and the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia is on high level, and as a result, the project developed The Initiative for the National Strategy for Microplastics.
Discussions put into mirror a low level of societal awareness about microplastic pollution.
