On Monday, February 12, 2024, a knowledge transfer training was held for representatives of local governments on the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on the topic of national regulations in the field of waste management with a focus on microplastics. The training was also attended by representatives of the Provincial Secretariat for Regional Development, Interregional Cooperation and Local Self-Government and associates from local self-government units of the APV. The welcoming speech on behalf of the Secretariat was delivered by the Provincial Secretary, Mr. Aleksandar Sofić, while the Rector of the University, Prof. Aleksandar Andrejević, PhD, greeted the guests on behalf of the University. Dr. Dragana Vidojević, from the Environmental Protection Agency, gave a lecture on the importance and progress of the initiative for the development of a national strategy in the field of microplastics, in the context of the GREENLand project.
