We will always remember Professor Vrvić with great respect and fondness. He was that benevolent spiritwho, in addition to wholeheartedly supporting youngresearchers and creating conditions for their unhampered immersion in science, always found time for friendly, uplifting socializing as well as for discussions on current topics in the field of analytics. His suggestions and solutions to numerous dilemmas we faced were always practical and applicable. He taught us that science has to be applicable in practice. He taught us that we need to be helpful to our colleagues, that we must never stop reading, that we need to constantly open new chapters and never be afraid of challenges.
The cheerful and brilliant mind of our dear Professor Vrvić will be deeply missed.
