The GREENLand team considered the establishment of the Project Incubator Hub (PIH) as one of the priorities for the success of the project; therefore, the activities of this task were foreseen and planned earlier. In order to improve the ability to compete for EU funding, the Project Incubator Hub (PIH) was established in June 2023 with the aim of improving the capacity to secure EU funding.
Establishing the Project Incubator Hub (PIH), the project will strengthen research management capacities, bridge the knowledge and innovation gaps in project management, and rapidly acquire accumulated know-how.
Establishing the Project Incubator Hub (PIH), the project will strengthen research management capacities, bridge the knowledge and innovation gaps in project management, and rapidly acquire accumulated know-how. PIH will facilitate the preparation of project proposals, access to funding opportunities in the EU Framework Programmes, as well as broader participation in the Horizon Europe programme.

To build the capacity related to the activities of all work packages (microplastics research activities, management, administrative and financial capacities, digitalization, open science practices, etc.) in line with the specific objectives of the project, with the support of the PIH, Educons University staff will submit proposals for open calls under various EU-funded programs, such as Horizon Europe, ERASMUS+ and more. Project Incubator Hub team members are Miloš Rajković, Horizon Europe Coordinator, Jovana Kisin, Erasmus Program Coordinator, and Suzana Kojić, Project Manager.
The GREENLand project supports the process of training the administrative and management staff of Educons University. This will be achieved, among other expected outputs and impacts, through short visits of Educons staff members to the project partner institutions. The acquired knowledge will be used to launch and expand the project incubator in order to ensure the impact of further achieved results.
