From March 22 to 24, 2023, representatives from our institution participated in a consortium meeting in Budapest, Hungary, focused on finalising the BEAMING project proposal (Bioeconomy Excellence Alliance for Stimulating an Innovative and Inclusive Green Economy).
In addition to preparing the proposal, meetings were held with partners from the University of Pannonia, Express Innovation Agency, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Discussions covered joint applications to upcoming EU calls related to climate change, soil health, ocean missions (with a focus on microplastics), and bioeconomy initiatives under CBE JU.
The visit contributed to strengthening partnerships and expanding future collaboration opportunities within the GREENLand project framework.
The meeting resulted in participation as a partner in the HE project BEAMING, which aims to promote innovation and knowledge valorisation in the bioeconomy field through cooperation between higher education institutions.
