Educons University representatives, Professor Dr. Dunja Prokić and Assistant Professor Dr. Simonida Vukadinović, made a presentation of project GREENLand at the European ‘Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival’ at the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad on March, 14, 2024. The Novi Sad Faculty of Agriculture organized the local event on the topic of bioeconomy as a part of the main ‘Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival’ ,which encompasses a main high-level event and the presentation of 20 projects pertaining to bioeconomy, including project GREENLand. The Festival takes place between March 11 and 17, 2024 in Brussels and aims to raise awareness about bioeconomy and encourage cooperation in this area. 30 organizations from 17 EU countries were selected to organize their own local events, while the Faculty of Agriculture was the only institution outside of EU selected to become a satellite event. The aim of the festival is to raise awareness among young people about the ecological and sustainable transition and motivate them to become personally engaged as drivers of the transformative change.
