From June 12 to 15, 2024, representatives of Educons University, Prof. Dr. Jelena Ješić and Jovana Kisin, participated in the 11th edition of the EuroScience Open Forum ESOF 2024, Conference was hosted for the first time in Poland, at the International Congress Center in Katowice, European Capital of Science 2024.
Of the 6 thematic areas Educons University participated in 2 – sustainable environment and changes within scientific excellence. In the poster sessions, in the paper “Eco-innovative academic community connecting regional Sustainable Environment Eco-System – Case of University Educons” by authors from Educons University was related to the GREENLand project.
Educons’ participation in ESOF 2024 was an opportunity to present the GREENLand project, its objectives, and to give achieved results to many different research and education institution representatives, and to network for potential new project development within the Horizon Europe Programme.
ESOF 2024 is one of the most significant international conferences, having an impact on science and world transformation. During the event, scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians, journalists and inhabitants are going to discuss the latest scientific achievements, the arts and their impact on society. In a nutshell, ESOF 2024 had 3500 participants, 6 plenary sessions, 10 keynote speeches, 135 speeches, EU Talent Fair, networking day, workshops, 6 side events and more.
